Finished Bond now off to the old country.... this 5k uw is giving me an excuse to clear out backlog 😀

Does this model suffer from the typical LG OLED monitor vignette dimming aka logo detection and panel safety features or did LG finally add the ability to turn that crap off?

If not if someone is willing (this may void warranty or brick your monitor if you change the wrong setting so proceed at your own risk) I am curious if you can disable CPC and Lea Refresh in the service menu which are the anti burn in features for a brighter image like on the other LG monitors.

To get into the service menu on the 32GS95UE it was power stick left left right power on, not sure if it will be the same for this monitor.

Sold my 5080 FE for $1,500 then the same day bought the brand new, unopened box 5090 FE for $3,500 from a Marketplace guy.

Did the opposite;

Since 2023 had the 1440p version LG 45 Ultragear

Then wanted something higher resolution but not much smaller, so picked up the LG 39 5k2k, and it's glorious, but after a few days really started missing the larger 45 inch size, as the 39 just felt like a slightly bigger 34" ultrawide. When viewing the 39 I kept looking over the top bezel no matter where I set the monitor, because it just felt too narrow / not enough height.

I returned the 39 within my refund period, and got the LG 45 5k2k, and couldn't be happier, just love this size and extreme curve for gaming.

Good to know. The vertical screen resolution is my biggest concern too

Now that I'm back on the 45 inch I don't even question the size, but the ten days I had the 39 inch every day I was thinking, ugh, this just isn't tall enough, it's too narrow, needs more height. Other than that the LG 39 5k2k is a fantastic display, just awesome, but for me it needed to be like 42" or so to really have that extra height it needs.

To me 34" to 39" is not a huge gigantic difference really, but the 45 is on another level, very unique size, and for gaming? LOL no comparison the 45 is ten million times better.
 
Once you put the 39 directly next to the 45 and have both settings dialed in.... the 39 looks like Temu.

Followed Vegas and zorachus.... returned 39 and went back to 45 and damn glad I did.
