That is cool. If I didn't somehow skip socket 939 (I was a socket 940 guy), I'd probably spend the stupid money on this and a retro build. Esthetically, I liked the nforce ii socket A board better.

Somehow I also skipped Socket 939 years, but planning an Opteron 185 build soon :)

Cool memories. Back when computers and building /over clocking/gaming were still fun.

Far from the best 939 motherboard.. these are extremely unreliable in terms of longevity. Not many people even liked the look of it back when it was new either because it didn't match any color schemes of builds. The DFI Lanparty NF2 Ultra was really peak, then it went downhill from there.

Looking back at some old articles, this mobo was one of the recommended & best motherboards for socket 939.
Any other options you can recommend? After 20+ years any mobo of that era will require recapping

Still have it

Only pulled it a week or two ago for a new build. Probably have less than 150 hours on it due to the power supply failing and never getting round to replacing it

Article to come soon if anyone's interested, I'm just trying to figure out the best place to post it as it's long, has a number of images and tables

Edit:
I goofed, the one I'm talking about is a different model but was still highly regarded
