I have a thermalright frost spirit 140 that I've been rocking on my 5800x3d for over 2 years now and it's been solid.

Also, looks like the black might be out of stock.

Both of those links now take you to the white one so it does appear the black is out of stock.

looks like the thermalright deal is dead now anyway, updated OP to reflect it and renamed the post.

I'm kind of hesitant to post because I don't want it to look like I'm thread crapping, but I think there is a better alternative to the TRUE style coolers.

I have a classic TRUE as well as a Venomous-X RT and I've found the orientation of the heat pipes in coolers like the Frost Spirit 140 and Peerless Assassin 120 make them work at lot better than the older Thermalright coolers (these are all Thermalright coolers). I think they have better heat transfer because the heatpipes are spread across the fans, rather than concentrated at the sides. I also think the older TRUE design puts the heatpipes in the shadow of each other, the lead heatpipe dumps into the air going into the second heatpipe which dumps into the third, etc... This is really noticeable when buttoned up inside a case.

With a 5800X3D or 5900X I see no difference in performance between the FS140 and the PA120 and both clearly beat the older TRUE style designs. The PA120 is $33.90 on Amazon now and it seems like it is always about this price.
