Razer Cobra mouse (wired) $17.50 on amazon

Pretty decent deal, price is usually $30 or so.

I recently picked up the wireless version of this mouse. I'm not even the biggest fan of Razer, but some of their newer stuff has grown on me a bit even though I refuse to install Synapse.

IMO, $17.50 is a really good price for this wired version. The optical switches should be extremely reliable over the long haul. They're not my absolute favorite switch in terms of audible sound and tactile feel, but that's being extremely nit-picky at this price point and by no means does it preclude me from recommending it.

In for one for my son, he's using a wireless razer but this will be a good back up option once that fails.
