Beast of Reincarnation

Reminds me of Capcom Wild Hearts but not as complicated combat. Could be way better than Phantom Blade same silly Rice Paddy hat.

I forgot about Wild Hearts...that game died out fast...it looked like a great MH alternative with better graphics

Yeah everyone and their grandmother was giving it away stupid cheap.
I got the EA version for $2 on Loaded sometime last year.
Haven't played it yet though.

Looks interesting, if it’s well received I might hop on board, timing is off with Mortal Shell 2 releasing around the same time though.

Eh, this game loosk alright. Seems to be Sekiro inspired. But....Phantom Blade Zero, will eat it for breakfast.

And that's kind of a goal by Phantom Blade's director. PBZ is a character action game (like Devil May Cry). Not an RPG, not a soulslike. It is deliberately designed to go against what soulslikes have been doing for gameplay------while still borrowing some elements of level design and gritty art styles. A big one, is that PBZ is not designed around a dodge-roll. And while there is parrying------its also not ALL ABOUT parrying, either. Equipment and "leveling" also have common ground with DMC, as well as Metroidvanias.
