I have all my stuff connected to UPSs and surge protectors so I'm more protected, but the lightning can always just skip that stuff and go straight to your body.
 
Yeah we had a pretty spectacular thunderstorm a few days ago. Was middle of the day though, so maybe not as great as what y'all got.

He was not struck by lightning he took a very small percent of it though the grounding of the house
