Hey there HardForum,
Got some random stuff that would be better being used and not just sitting around my apartment.
For the home theater stuff, if anyone has a connection / profile on AVS Forums or somewhere else for someone who could use the extender kit bundle, I would be eternally grateful for a referral.

-- Purchased in 2021, this bundle has been sitting around for way too long. I tested one of the 21609s with my parent's home theater setup and ended up going in a different direction. Would love to see this go to use and be deployed instead of sitting in a box in my apartment.

-- NOTES: Laptop is a decade+ old so in used condition. The screen looks good, keyboard + USB ports + touchpad work fine. The exterior and case are a bit beat-up (taped over crack on laptop body left lower keyboard area, does not affect keyboard or ports) and the interior plastic around the keyboard is a bit sticky due to the age of the machine. I cleaned it up as best I could and it's fine for a very basic daily driver.
I was NOT able to load W11 onto this machine even with the no TPM / no Secure Boot / Rufus workarounds, multiple attempts. I don't think it would have run well at all anyway. I was able to load W10 but that OS is not secure as of this writing in 2026 so I chose to jump over to Linux Mint XFCE for the lighter demand on the hardware. The nVidia 580 driver for the 860M works a bit better with YouTube but driving that 4K screen is rough on this machine, it was very much ahead of its time.
