System from around 2004, complete with dual CPUs and coolers, PSU, HDD, etc. Runs in MP mode with "pencil trick"

Also spare Athlon CPUs, PCI-133 SCSi boards,

FREE for local pickup in city south of San Francisco. Yes, really free, but you have to pick it up at my house. Send me DM if interested.

Offer me something in trade.

What state are you in? I'm in CA.

I hate to think of what it would cost for me to haul all that stuff down to the local UPS store for packing and shipping.
Im in IL 60805. As long as the shipping isnt too insane, Id be willing to pay it for some vintage AMD stuff versus letting it go into the trash. Plus it would be nice to have a second asus MP board.

Nice Inwin case! Also, loving the Athlon MP stuff from you both. I could never afford it when it was new.

Case is an Antec SX1240, so yes it is a cheiftec rebrand. Full tower version of the cheiftec dragon cases, which I have a bunch of also. Here is some more dually porn, a slot 1 also in a cheiftec dragon case.

He gives it away on one of the only places he could have actually sold it 😑🤣
OK so offer me some decent money and come out to my house to pick it up or pay for some service to pick it up and ship it to you.

I didn't say you could sell it to me, only that you could sell it - my server rack ain't the Museum of Natural History ☝️

My wife just wants it out of the house. If someone picks it up that's work I don't have to do schlepping the case, keyboard etc to UPS.
If you decide to ship it, dont need the case I got more than I need. That likely would cut down the shipping weight.

Anyone from SF Bay Area still interested. Guy who said he was interested got told NO by his wife.

If no one wants this by July 31,then it all gets recycled. Sorry but if I'm going to just give all this away I can';t spend any time shipping. That is from MY WIFE.

Bump for you, man this brings back memories of my Tyan Tiger dual AMD MP 1800 setup. Ahhh...The good ol' days.

Well its a shame, but it is what it is. Just makes the stuff left worth more.

Yes, it is a shame, because I had always hoped to pass along this system to someone else. The era of dual CPUs in consumer boards is long since gone. But can you imagine 2 AMD Ryzen 9 CPUs on a consumer motherboard. :)

Dont have to justify it to me, you already decided what your going to do. I am sure my vast hoard of computer stuff Ive accumulated over the last 30+ years, and whatever stuff I dont sell before I die will just get tossed in the garbage too. I dont try to save everything anymore, I just dont have the room to hoard it anymore. I am sure a bunch of retro people would weep and cry over all the stuff I have getting tossed, but it is what it is.
