How do I get pics to pop up in my posts and not as links?

I dont want to keep posting and deleting which would be annoying for Mods (and as im typing this i see the preview button). Instead of trial and error, anybody want to help me out? I tried simply dragging and dropping the jpeg into my post and then it converted it to a webp. Maybe all of the pics on posts are webp, but mine just showed up as a link. How do i get the picture to just show up in my post automatically? Also did the image insert button at the top of the screen and that didn't work either. Thanks

Are you certain the original source image is not .webp?

The forum software doesnt embed webp for some reason, it is likely the image you are trying to post was webp to begin with.

The forum software does not convert images, it only applies compression if it is able to, the image format is unchanged.

Alright thanks guys. Maybe i thought i converted to jpeg, but it actually didn't ill try again.

just do a snip/screenshot and paste it into the text window. (on windows: shift+win+s)
