I had this ordered twice but canceled it but decided to buy one from Fiio direct. I heard what it sounds like in a comparison video on Youtube compared with a Temu amp sounds better actually. I'm hoping it warm as my IFI Zen Dac 3 and 2 or better than my Fosi K7 which I have boxed up. I wanted the Black one actually but the Silver one ships faster and it won't attract finger prints as bad. If I don't like this thing I'll put off buying another Amp for a very long time. I have this thing mainly for Speakers and Headphones secondary.

I just hooked it up I couldn't get usb to work with my speakers to RCA so I used RCA from my AUX audio port. Sounds way better than my Fosi K7 doesn't fatigue. I was getting case fans and feedback for speaker use so that nixes that unless it's just my cable. I have the IFI Zen Dac for my speakers and the Fiio K13 for my Headphones.

It's mostly a headphone amp. Heard the speaker part is so so. But then I have zero experience with modern day speakers. LMK how you like it.

I had to watch the Zeos review on the settings there is like 20 of them I finally got my speakers to work didn't know PO was Headphones a LO Line out.
Shortcut names that you need to be on wheel of fortune to figure out.

Glad you figured it out. I think the main setting is NOS vs. OS. Try the modes to see what works for you. I usually stay with NOS but sometimes I try OS. It is a subtle difference that shows itself in busy tracks.

The comment that iFi is warm and you hope this is as well it interesting as heck to me as I dont find any of these Chinese dac, dac/amp clones warm. I mean I have them, but I cant listen to any raw, they all go thru other amps, etc to take the edge off. Well and not to mention none of them have the depth and oomph for speakers of any merit. They are great with headphones though.

Just another point in, everyone ears are different.

I turned the Bass down on my Sub to like half volume and Half Trebble on my T5 way less fatiguing sound. I had it turned all the way up with my IFI before. I see why people like senheiser Headphones they work on almost any type of settings.

I didn't know why Zeos cut out the Line Out button with a knife I see why now It sucks for speakers.

There are a bunch of Handpicked presets EQs on the website I choose a few listed on the top I found this one really good.
I saved it to USER 2 profile on the device.

Style Name
Bass
Description

Paired with a DCA Noire X Gives a very dark sound with immense bass, while still keeping the middle and higher notes audible

Yeah, I am not a fan of the web app but it actually works really well. I just find the whole connection and working through presets extremely slow/lethargic. But I use it to save my presets. Just tuned my Arya Unveiled to my liking. It is sooooo good!

I turned the front lights off but kept the inside light on. Just found the front lights distractioning. I put my Zen ifi dan on top of it just using that for my speakers

I almost always block or turn off front facing LEDs. They are like lasers in my eyes, feels like they are burning my retinas (especially my right eye). Blue leds can fuck right off.

That's proper. Maybe I get there but I prefer warmer DAC/AMP for myself.
I prefer "warmer" sounding dacs, too. The K17 has dual AK4499EX + AK4191 chips. ESS dacs usually are on the sharper side, in my experience. I know a lot of audio types claim the chip makes little difference compared to all the other components, but there's gotta be a reason I find AKM-based dacs more pleasing to my ears.

I really like how this sounds in games it picks up ambient sounds really good I switched the cables around using USB C cables. I was getting lag in Borderlands 4 but it's better now I think need to test it some more. I have a bunch of High speed USB C to USB C cables I picked up at work over the past year or so Still going to use the IFI for Headphones I thought I would be wowed by this thing but the IFI sounds better.

Surprised to hear about the IFI sounding better. Now I am curious to try it out.

I bought the FiiO K11 a few years back. Do you think i would noticed any significant difference in quality?

This thing lags for gaming stutters but is great for music. So I use my ifi Zen Dac 3 for speakers Fosi K7 for Headphones. This thing is boxed up but is great for music doesn't work well for most FPS games.

I have not had this issue at all. I game on it daily. What is the lag?

I get stutters in Borderlands 4 using USB-C unless I should hook it up some other way.

I tried both might be my cable or RTR slowing things down. My ifi sounds better anyway. Hoping to replace that with Soundblaster AE-X card.
