• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

In the year 2026 MS still doesn't take care of passwords.

The fact that modern browswers also ask you if you want to save the credentials for later hacking makes it even more annoying.

Is this an Edge only thing or it effects other Chrome based browsers? Given the situation with Chrome based browsers proving to be insecure, it maybe time to finally move towards FireFox. I must have said this 122 times by now.

It's the only Chromium browser that shows the ENTIRE database in clear. All other Chromium browsers only show the password for the site you're visiting which is expected behavior.

Microsoft's biggest mistake was taking a "password hash" and using it as a "token" in place of auth. I mean, we're talking a negative IQ that that point. Still in use today. All because encryption would be "too hard" to deploy. I personally don't trust anything Microsoft deploys "with trust".
