“AMD is on track to ship its EPYC "Venice" server CPUs with "Zen 6" architecture, the Instinct MI400 series of accelerators for AI training, inference, and HPC workloads, and Pensando "Vulcano" AI NICs, all housed within a rack-scale system called "Helios." Expected to match and exceed NVIDIA's "Vera Rubin" in some areas, AMD will be competitive in the world's largest industry today—AI data centers. However, the company is not resting on its laurels and has already prepared a 2027 update of this product portfolio for the next-generation AI rack. This execution has instilled confidence in AMD's investors, driving the stock price significantly higher.”

Not that long ago in my memory it was about $2 per share. I knew it could only go up, but I had no money at the time to buy. :(
Yeah it was years ago i think i remember $5 a share but i had a low end dead in job so it is what it is. I have a good job now but still no money as i alway try to max my 401k every year and i would not have enough for the stock market. What ever it is what it is and this is the life Jesus gave me and I am happy for it either way. ^_^

Got shares at that $2...half me, half dad, around 2012 I want to say. I figured that they cannot go out of business.
Got out at $16. I went back in alone at $17 with my shares (didnt want to risk dads share), held to $47. Thought covid would tank the markets and everything would crash, so sold it all.
Went back in at around $90 for fewer shares. Holding, and not thinking about it.
Wife has wanted to put more into it over time as it climbed, but we didnt. At no time did i ever think it would go this high.

Jeez. I bought a few at 215 a month or so ago I think. It dropped a bit right after and I got worried. Glad I stuck it out, and wish I bought more than I did. 😂

I bought AMD stock in Dec 2023 at $139 share...it's currently at $305 and expected to continue to grow...might be looking at another Nvidia stock experience from a few years ago

Depending on your age, gains in 401k potentially worse than gains in the stock market. Index fund SOXX up 150% YoY - how does that compare to 401K match + gains?
