Samsung purposely knives customer's TV to weasel out of repair

What's interesting is the occupant decided to film the encounter using some phone or something, like he's had enough bad experiences.

Odd. My Samsung TV was having some issues last year and Samsung sent two technicians out fairly quickly and fixed my TV for free. I don't think this steaming pile of human excrement is representative of the company itself. There are just bad people in every field at every company. Having said that, it looks like I'll be recording anyone coming to my house to fix things from now on.

Despicable. Has Samsung responded?

Oh, this just happened. I see they are getting Reddit posts about it taken down though.

it doubt its a samsung emplyee but someone they contract to do the onsite repairs. dude got it sorted in the end.

My local cable company uses a mix of contractors and employees to do repairs/ troubleshooting and installs. I had a bad experience once with guy who didn’t know what he was doing and left things in a worse state than he started and “misplaced” gear instead of returning it. Turned out to be a contractor.

Dude deserves more than just a replacement TV.

More like Samsung deserves more shit than just replacing this one dudes TV. I do not believe for two seconds that this was the first time this stunt happened. Samsung has to go through all previous warranty decisions that this guy was involved in and see how many of "mysterious cuts" there are.

But you see, modern companies who have jobs requiring labour and actually moving around (and sometimes even desk jobs too) they don't actually have 'employees' they have independent contractors. One benefit being when things like this happen they can say things like that.
because its true. dell doesnt come to fix our work machines, a contractor does....
pulling this to the og thread btw.
