I have a Surface Pro 8. It is a great little device if you want a fully functional windows device in a tablet form factor. You don't have to worry about programs being "battery managed" and closed in the background.
Although it is expensive I suggest getting the surface pro signature keyboard as well. It has a great trackpad and although Windows 11 is designed very well for the tablet form factor some full screen programs don't work well with an onscreen keyboard.
Battery life is good, I've used it for the better part of a day without battery anxiety. It does support USB-PD if you want to carry a portable battery.
My only regret is that I bought the 8GB version instead of 16 GB. It can't be upgraded later.

Had a 16gb surface pro 7. Overall for the form factor I loved the power it provided, be prepared though for serious workloads it will thermal throttle pretty quick. With that said for typical office work it was great. Only other complaint was I/O, you almost always needed to take the dock with you for meetings/presentations etc, or rely on dongles.
