I picked up a Dell Optiplex 7010 (Desktop form factor) at a Goodwill while on vacation in Vermont (for Thanksgiving) I then bought a SSD and I was wondering if there an easy way to determine which ports are SATA 3 and which one is SATA 2. The spec sheet and the service manual say nothing about which is which.

I also upgraded the CPU to a Core i5-3475S and made a Hackintosh out of it but I do have a second HDD with Windows 10 on it if needed to see which port is which

Thanks

Blue and Black are 3, White is 2

Thank You ryan that is exactly what I wanted to know. I used a new SATA cable (it says 6GBPS on the side and has the locking clips). I had an old SATA cable and the drive was connected to the white port (SATA 2 3Gbps). macOS now says it is connected at SATA 3 speeds
