I have questions about this graphics card: https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-radeon-rx-vega-64-gv-rxvega64gaming-oc-8gd/p/N82E16814932031

I need a graphics card that can handle six 4K displays in an eyefinity setup. I need more than just multi-monitor capability, rather I need for the six displays to behave as one massive display with a 11520*4320‬ resolution (3 by 2 setup). From what I have seen, eyefinity is the way to go. I need something like what is shown in this video:

1. Can this video card accommodate this task?
2. I see the card has three HDMI and three Displayport outputs. The screens only have HDMI meaning three would need to have adapters. Is this okay or would this create any kind of issues for our setup?
3. If this is not the ideal graphics card, is there another one which would more closely match our need?

This is the rest of the build by the way: https://secure.newegg.com/Wishlist/SharedWishlistDetail?ID=ZCWbW5pne5/6SPkGCdd3bw==

Thank you

Any card with two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs should be able to support 6 monitors, you'll just need to use MST hubs to expand the two outputs into 6 outputs.

Running 6 full 4k monitors, on the other hand... that's a tall order...

I decided on the Matrox C680 instead since it is more suited for what we need and has six mini displayports built in.

Thank you

I would try RX 570 8Gb just for 60Hz 4k desktop as I know it will do that , any performance would need CX help ..

but why 4k as one 290x could game 3 displays as one on 5760 x 1080 Eyefintiy and they made cards that pushed 6 displays back then .

I don’t think he was looking for gaming performance. The newegg list was labeled “Lobby Monitor PC” seems like just need something to run a large display for anyone to be able to read.
