Ubuntu 18.04 (no raspberry pi right now)
Pi-Hole
OpenVPN
Cloudflared

So basically network wide DNSSEC with ad filtering plus VPN access for external devices.

My Android phone now auto connects to the new VPN at home via Tasker anytime I'm not in range of my WiFi. Filtering and secure DNS anywhere...

There's a few write ups out there on how to do this but they're not nearly accurate anymore so I had to figure out certain things myself. I will have a full write up done on how to do this hopefully tomorrow for those who want to do it.

I love my pi hope. It’s the first thing tech wise that my wife has been impressed with too since it blocks all the stupid ads and videos on the mobile games she plays on her phone. The analytics are cool too.

Same here. The wife loves that her iPhone is finally ad free. I've had a Pi hole with DOH for awhile now but I was tired of always having DNS66 running on my cellphone and having to manually stop and start it when at the house or at work. I figured there had to be a better way and what I found is so much better.

Write up is progressing nicely. Should have it done some time today.

Here it is. I ran through it a few times yesterday so it should pretty much work right out of the box but mileage always varies. Issues/Questions just ask.
