using a GT 740 4GB card, always has worked for the past few years. All of a sudden (about a few weeks ago) the screen intermittently goes black, comes back ... might do this a few times then stop for a long while and sometimes it goes black and stays black with intermittent ok video. It seems to be trying to set the screen resolution but failing at the task.
When the video does become stable with the GT 740 card I can run Mass Effect just fine using Origin client but when I run ME3 the screen flickers black and there's no audio. I've also noticed that opening the Chrome browser causes the flickering as well - sometimes, sometimes not.
I tried a Radeon 6350 I use for testing new motherboards and it has a stable video output so I'm thinking it has to be the Nvidia drivers or maybe some kind of incompatibility with Windows 10. It started doing this after the last Win 10 update I did about a month ago.
Anyone else having this problem?
