Origin finally has a move option for Hard Drive installs

In the past you had to download part of the game and move the rest of the install over it.

Hmm, when my PC died, all I had to do was reinstall Origin and "download" the games to the directory they were in, only for Origin to find em and verify the files and be done with that game.

I did have to manually point to all of them, but it took minutes for it to be good to go again. Not like I hae a lot of their games installed anyways

Yeah, all you had to do was backup your installation folder/s and then point Origin to it. Very similar to Steam.

pretty sure I moved my battlefront 2 install a while ago too...
