I don't understand the world today. You can be a pseudo celebrity for being old?
 
It's pretty cool that a game company is going to create an in-game character out of one of their fans. How and why that fan got noticed is not necessarily the news part, but, it is cool that a lady of that age has got game. So, yeah, you can be pseudo-celebrity for being old. (Kinda like how a 16 year old competing in athletics/the music industry/etc., can be a pseudo-celebrity. The age makes it unusual and therefore noticed.)

Actually not like that at all. The 16 year old that gets noticed in athletics gets noticed because they excel at it. Not all 16 year old athletes/musicians get celebrity status. It is their performance that gets them notice not their age.
Eg, first you must excel at what you do to get noticed. You don't just become a celebrity for doing something at a certain age. But because you're exceedingly good at it.

Giving kudos just for participating seems kind of ageist to me.

Are you just upset that it isn't you?

I'm really confused. She has a following, it's free Bethesda PR, of course, they are gonna do it. It takes a minimal amount of time to write up a script for an NPC.

Think about how many other older generations even know how to turn on a computer or use a phone, she stands out, she will get noticed.2
