This is a "before purchase" question (I would have tested it my self otherwise)

CPU: 9700K

From the motherboard specs:

Integrated Graphics Processor-Intel® HD Graphics support:
  1. 1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160@30 Hz
    * Support for HDMI 1.4 version and HDCP 2.2.
From the CPU specs:
Processor Graphics:
Intel® UHD Graphics 630

Max Resolution (HDMI 1.4)‡4096x2304@24Hz

Thanks

Edit: I just found that according to this : https://i.imgur.com/He8tMYj.png It won't work.

HDMI 1.4 supports 2560x1080 100Hz max

I can't answer your question directly on that feature/capability, but I think 144hz or not, if you intend to use the 630 @2560x1440x144hz for gaming, it will lag badly. I think it might even be unplayable. Better just get a discrete GPU that is capable of giving you high FPS @2560x1440x144Hz.

Thanks for the reply. I've added an edit to the first post that it won't work.
I have a RTX 2070 for windows gaming, the question was referring to a macOS that I plan to dual boot with that system. macOS currently doesn't support RTX cards so i'll need to use the internal GPU.

Oh, okay. Must it be 144hz to work with the MacOS? Don't know anything about MacOS, so I don't know anything pertaining to it.

Definitely not a must but certainly an added bonus for the OS that my GTX970 delivered.

i used my z370 gaming 7 from gigabyte and my 8700k and it works for my second screen at 144 and 1440p i would assume the newer stuff would. I use my 2080ti for my primary screen

Sorry yeah with HDMI it would only do 30fps above 1080 i think, i was using DP
