Hi,
It's been a while since I have been here. Well computer won't boot. It starts up to cpu fan spins up then shuts down. Lights on board show the cpu red light comes on then dram light comes on. It shuts down. I have tried different memory, replaced power supply even replaced cpu. Reset cmos. And the motherboard was just replaced. Specs below.

Intel 4400 pentium
Asus Z270 A Prime
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000
EVGA GTX 1070
Power Supplies Corsair AX 1200i or AX 850i or EVGA SuperNova 850 P2

a bunch of power supplies all are good.

Anybody have any ideals why this happening?

take it out of the case. test with just the cpu and one stick of ram and oboard vid if it has it, if not add the gpu. see if you can get it to post properly with just the basics then add things back one at a time.

Something tripping the PSU out on overcurent.

Could be bad vid card, bad mobo, or something as simple as a connector fried or a screw lodged up under the mobo

Taking everything out of the case and reconstructing is a very good suggestion

Important part here is bare minimal. Just one stick of ram no overclock, basic parts only.

If you have integrated video available use that and remove the code card

Thank you guys. I do not know what happen but it's back up and running. It was not mounted in a metal case. I made a wooden stand for it. But the only thing I did this time was remove a small 2 wire push button switch. Then push the power button on the mother board itself and it's running. So I assume the wire button switch was bad.
