I just installed 1809 on 3 separate PCs. Edge is now broken on all 3.

Anybody else?

FIXED: Known issue. The upgrade disabled IPv6 on 3 of my systems. I turned it back on and Edge works. Lots of google hits on this one.

Seems fine on my end. Something you can try is to use a program like CCleaner to uninstall Edge and then use the Powershell command to restore (and re-register) all UWP apps to bring it back.
That has fixed my issues with other UWP apps that start acting screwy.

Hold down the shift key and then open Edge. Does that help? Also, what jmilcher said, what do you mean by broken? Thanks.

I just updated to several of my all machines no issues in any of those.. in fact liked a lot the option to turning off automatic video reproduction and flash in all sites..

On a tech site the dude just left it at "broken." lol. This is what I expect from my uncle

my computer doesn't work can you fix it?

Sure what's wrong with it?

It doesn't work.

Anyways, I just opened Edge for the first time in years, on 1809. It came up, asked me if I wanted it to be my default browser, I said don't ask again, and closed it.

I keep Edge disabled--now if I could just remove the "Open With Microsoft Edge" from the right click context menu, I'd be a happy camper.

Known issue. You have to toggle IPv6 back on. Seems to have disabled it on 3 of my systems during the upgrade. All 3 are fixed now.

As you all know MS is now requiring IPv6 to be enabled regardless of whether you actually use it.
