Digital Extremes has released a wearable orange ribbon in Warframe in order to bring attention to Leukemia Awareness month. My son, WhyGrimWhy, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September of 2017. He has had a long hard year dealing with all types of drug and radiation chemotherapy, both of which are devastating in many ways. The pics below are of his Frame wearing his ribbon, with a bunch of his Warframe buddies lined up behind him paying tribute this weekend. My daughter stepped up and was the donor for a stem cell/bone marrow transplant for my son earlier this year, and both of them just returned to school last week. If you want to know more about becoming a bone marrow donor, as many people cannot find matches inside their families, you can check out Be The Match's FAQ page.

Pics.

Cancer is a devastating disease - even more-so when support is unavailable to those suffering. At Digital Extremes we've committed to learning everything we can about helping those with Leukemia as it is a cancer that has hit very close to home.

This month we're asking you to show your support and spread awareness about helping organizations support those with Leukemia. Wearing this ribbon will do just that.

Surprised this game is still going strong with the lack of end game and bad reviews I've read. That being said, bringing awareness and raising money to fight cancer is always a great thing.

Have you played the game? There are always bad reviews for games.

I agree, raising money for cancer can only help.

And that's just Steam alone...
You don't need Steam at all to play Warframe...
They have cranked out a lot of big updates lately as well. Huge content there for those folks that like to grind. Not my thing personally...

So, the big negative is the new player experience, its tough and you need to have someone to playwith, or just keep the wiki open.

As far as end game, theres fashion frame, theres leader boars for an endless scaling onslaught mode, achieving long survival runs or long defenses, open world boss fights(theres another one on the way in the next big update), theres collecting ALL THE THINGS, PVP and a sport ball mode called Lunaro if you're into those, and then just dicking around and being a goofball while gaining resources you want/need.

Good to see warframe do this, think its the 2nd year? The devs are good to teh community and have donated things to other charity events as well.

Cancer definitely sucks, all the best to mr WhyGrimWhy, and a very cool sister stepping up to help him.
