I'm looking for a new 1440p monitor in the 25 to 27 (prefer 25) range. There used to be a site and frequent poster here that listed some of the best monitors with regards to minimal bleed and ips glow but I can't seem to remember it nor have any clue if it has been kept up to date. I was interested in the old 25 DELL but it is now rather expensive and reports on the new one are rather negative so now I'm looking for an alternative option (though I was kind of hopeful oled monitors would be availble but the only one i can fine is asus 23 inch).

I think the best glow free were 25" 1080p panels like HP 25er/es and some Dells from 2015... but I could be wrong

The OP might be referring to NCX's material. Wecravegames is shut down. Apparently that affected the reddits and some other things as well. No idea what became of NCX at this point although I think he's still somehwere on reddit and youtube.

I still don't know why he is not active here. I mean he is an ass of a person on reddit sometimes but his knowledge is very nice

No clue. I just remember that he provided a good list of monitors to pursue. Maybe he got pissed at someone ?

His profile sez last here dec 2015 and about has this: "Not posting here anymore." so my guess is something specific happened.

Thanks; but it appears to be dead - or not the site i remembered.
Probably... but you need to know that those are basically the only glow-free IPS monitors out there.
Eizo CX240 should be also included and some users of Qnix qx2710 (or was it different model?) reported having panel without glow but in this case it was lottery and usually not very lucky one.

And that is pretty much it. Everything else will have IPS glow.

In this sad reality you should rather focus on finding "low-glow IPS monitor"...

Yea I was about to say low ips glow; but then you added it :) Actually I really want 25 or 27 inch oled monitor but the only one making really good oled screens seem focused on large tvs. Oh well maybe one day lg will come up with a nice oled monitor. Anyway it looks like philip; dell and aoc are the ones to consider for 25 inch. The cx at $1500 is a joke - for that price i could get a 55 inch oled tv but unforunately 55 inch is way too big.
