fucking amazing! Now I want to fully replay the game! Tried before but the game did not age well, but now it looks great.

 
That's cool. They gonna do a PS4 Pro patch too then? I never got a chance to play this still. Might just play it on my One S (assuming it got a bit upgraded on it too?) if it doesn't get patched on the Pro too. Xbone doesn't really have any games/exclusives worth playing otherwise to warrant getting an X IMO, esp. when I have a Steam Link and a gaming PC that's better than the X as well.
 
Nice! Saw this patch queue up when I got home. I never got around to playing it, but looks like the perfect time to start!

I doubt it. I don't think there has been a push to patch old games to support Pro features on the PS4 unlike the Xbox One X.
 
So is it possible to play red dead on my plain one Xbox one?
 
Does it play at 1080p on a vanilla Xbox one? I've never played the game but bought it on sale a few years ago for $10 new with all the DLC. I have a PS4 Pro but have contemplated getting an Xbox one for a few exclusives. This makes it even more tempting...

You can't play any PS3 games on PS4 period (outside of remasters made specifically for PS4) so it's a moot point.

The video title of "The 4K Remaster You've Been Waiting For!" is straight-up wrong, but this is pretty cool. Especially considering there's no charge for this if you own the game. Seems like the dream of a 60fps version of the game probably dies with this port, too. Before the sequel drops I'll probably give this a go.

in the digital foundry video they mention the vanila xbox one plays it at 720p like on 360
