Somehow it ended up at the majority of the phones Im looking at are Motorola. Ive owned a few Motorola phones (including the MotoX 2015 I just destroyed) and have been extremely happy. Currently using my even older Moto X 2014 as my backup phone until I get something else. Looking at the following phones:

Honor 7x - so far my top choice but I really enjoy fast charging and this phone doesnt have it - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078NCL7GJ?tag=viglink22665-20

G5 Plus - decent competitor to the Honor 7x - https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-g-plus

E4 Plus - inexpensive and absolutely massive battery - https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-e-plus-gen-4

Moto X4 - slightly out of my price range and the Honor 7x appears to be better - https://www.motorola.com/us/products/moto-x-gen-4

The G6 is suppose to be out very soon..

What carrier are you looking? Tmobile has the Motorola Z2 Force for $379. Good spec and price.

Maybe its worth waiting a month for the G6..

The Z2 has been out of stock on T-Mobile's website for a couple of weeks.

I'd recommend looking at Swappa and get a used high end phone. You would get a better one that way.

The problem here is that a lot of phones don't have easily replaceable batteries and the batteries are expensive. I bought my Moto X 2015 on Swappa and the battery was degraded pretty good.

What about the LG V20. I just bought one from mom for around $215. Replaceable battery is awesome.

Im not against the V20 if I can find a solid deal. Batteries look plentiful on Ebay so it may not be a bad option.

I still think the Moto 6plus will be your best option if they can fix the camera. Either this or a mid range Nokia. Solid phones, stock andriod and decent cameras

Was about to purchase and then saw it doesn't support band 12 on T-Mobile...
T-Mobile uses bands 2, 4, 12, 66 and 71 for LTE. That phone supports... band 4. You will NOT have a good time with any Xiaomi phone on T-Mo.
