Iran Blocks Instagram and Telegram App after Protests

Iran has opted to block social media as a means of curbing the nationwide protests that are taking place against its government. Instagram and Telegram have thus far been targeted; authorities claim that both are being used to spread violence, fear, and terror.

Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, earlier said it had blocked access to the popular Amadnews channel after, he said, it had “started to instruct their subscribers to use Molotov cocktails against police”. A source in Iran told the Guardian the state has started blocking access to Telegram, but it is not covering all provinces yet, while the block appeared to be affecting only those accessing it on cellular networks.

I believe the revolt in LIbya was largely coordinated by Twitter? Iran has had protests before. They were met with extreme violence by their government.

You are about to find out. The end result will be Iran going back to that way of life. Pakistan will be the next domino to fall - first their Afghani terrorist forces, then Pakistan itself.

Here's something you won't here much about - Saudi Arabia has a legit interest in stabilizing the region and getting rid of all the religious extremism. Some will counter that they funded 9/11. The people who say this fail to note that this was 3 regimes ago in the house of Saud, and that the last regime apologized. The current regime is targeting 2030 to complete reform, and are reforming at an astonishing pace - Women are now holding office, allowed in theaters to see movies, allowed to drive, etc. We might be like "so what?" but that's only because we're so used to it. They actually are allowing women participation in ADVANCE to their changing of the rules, so that by the time they announce it, everyone is already used to it.

On the military side, despite the public anti-jew stance, privately, they are working with Israel, and recently broke ground on a joint training base. Their soldiers are infiltrators that are trained to infiltrate enemy armies undetected, and slowly, so that when they are ready to act, when the enemy commanders order retaliation, nothing happens, because the force is already compromised. Its a process called "hollowing out". It leaves the terrorist leadership completely impotent. They don't just hollow out armies - you can bet they are assisting Iran here too.

The goal here is peace in the middle east. It is well under way. But be a dick, and he'll block - he doesn't engage losers who start arguments in bad faith.

As soon as the propaganda machine warms up in the US we will all be the Iranian opposition, we will cry their tears, suffer their pain... THEY MUST BE LIBERATED NOW..., they just don't know how to govern themselves.

Hopefully we can overcome "Arabian Apathy" which i blame more for some of the ills in Iran moreso than anything else.
