AIO gurgling?

Quick question: I just picked up my first AIO (Coolermaster Masterliquid 240) and it started gurgling about 3 days after install. I know if it does this for a few minutes at a time, it's just getting air bubbles out of the system, but it seems to be happening fairly often, usually a few times a day. Is this normal for a 1 week old AIO or should I look to replace it?

you need to make sure that the rad is at the high point and the the tube are at the bottom. that way any air will pool in the top of the rad and not get sucked through the pump.

Yeah, the rad is higher than the pump. You need to spin that bad boy around. Even still, I wouldn't expect it to be like that already...

thats the recommended orientation from aio manufacturers but its hard to do it front mount. with the tube at the top like that they are more likely to suck air from the top of the rad. I've had to do it like that and found the if you can angle it a bit the air will stay in the corner of the rad and miss the tubes. to try that just prop up the front of the case a bit to see if it stops.

Yeah. Flip the rad over so the tubes are on the bottom.

Likely it's because of "economization" in how full of coolant the system is (basically it isn't filled as full as it is because of indifferent quality control or process mandates for a specific volume of coolant and no more/less).

In an custom loop, you'd simply rotate/flip the system for a while to allow all the air to burp back into the reservoir.

Since there's no discrete reservoir, you fiddle with the rad orientation.

I can probably swap it around, it'll look like shit though. It's funny how every review I've watched of this case with an AIO has it mounted how I have it.

yup but its technically upside down. its the tube length or a gpu or both in the way that is usually the issue.

Small update: Trying to mount it "correctly" stresses the tubing a bit too much for my liking, and rests it up a very warm GPU. Looks like I'll be dealing with gurgling for now.
