As expected, Warner Bros. released the full-length Justice League trailer during their panel today at the San Diego Comic-Con. Say what you will about Zack Snyder, but nobody is able to create visuals quite like him: the Themyscira shots alone look leaps and bounds above what we saw in the Wonder Woman film. Sadly, Joss Whedon is reportedly reshooting numerous scenes for the movie, so there might be some level of inconsistency.
 
Not too bad, it looks nice, sure, but it could still be a failure overall. For me Batman v Superman looked great as expected but the story itself was quite poorly put together, personal opinion there. And Jesse Eisenberg just didn't do it for me, at all, not even close to what Lex Luther should have been like but again personal opinion.

After the success of Wonder Woman I hope for DC's sake that Justice League is a far far better movie than BvS was, it's pretty obvious it's right there or even slightly higher on a visual effects level but, if that story sucks again, forget it.

they don't show who alfred is speaking to at the end, how is it confirmed to be SM? was it posted somewhere?
 
I'm pissed that Snyder seems to be going more w/ New52 characters and yet he completely ruined Doomsday in BvS. If you know anything about Doomsday in New52, he's just ridiculously powerful. He would easily thwomp the Justice League.
 
Here's the thing... DC really knows how to piece together a great trailer but the movies generally fail to deliver. MOS was probably an exception. BvS was meh. WW looked great but failed. Hopefully, they're pull it together but I'm not expecting much here.
 
This the first time we seen crossover from xmen? The flash was in the last xmen film, unless i'm mistaken?

What are you talking about? WW wasn't perfect, especially the last act, but it was pretty good over-all. It has also made a shit load of money at the box office.

I agree that it is most likely Superman but:

That could be part of the Flying Fox itself, and probably is, but people are looking at that now and saying GL.
 
I'd rather have superman returns as a standalone movie. But if he appears in this one is cool too.
I think his death will have more weight if he stays dead thru this movie and then returns in a movie of his own imo.

Could be a cliffhanger "justice league is defeated, what do we do now?" ending where that scene with alred is the last scene of the movie, meeting superman resurrected.

i feel they try way to hard to oversell their movies to try and compete with the marvel universe branch of movies. the trailers look awesome and then you watch the movie and realize you just watched the entire movie in the trailers. that's my biggest complaint with them.. also yes i agree the person he's talking to is superman because DC's retarded and always gives away obvious shit in their trailers when they should of never mentioned it and left it as a surprise in the movie.
 
Could be both GL and SM coming to help save the day. The villain here is obviously Darkseid and in the DC universe Superman is one of the few that can challenge Darkseid one on one. And a GL, pretty powerful as well. The two of them make the JL FAR more powerful.

The cast list is not an end-all be-all. Studios can announce people being in a movie the day the movie hits theaters or preview screenings. Hell, Marvel just now announced the Clancy Brown is in Thor 3, which finished primary filming like last year. If a studio wants to keep something secret bad enough, they can. Mind you, I don't think GL will be in the movie either but do not take IMDB as the final answer.

Anymore? Steppenwolf was created in 1972. He was part of Jack Kirby's New Gods.
 
I've liked most of the Marvel movies. BvS felt too long - my wife lost interest and left the room. I finished it, but think I might have dozed through part of it.
WW - wife and I both thought it was good.
I'm curious and will likely see this movie at the cinema. I don't see many in a given year - Star Wars and JL. (Trying to decide if I will see Spiderman or not...)
 
Thor trailer looks great, but god damn i hope they touch up some of that CGI, its rough/super-fake looking.
Stranger Things 2 looks incredibly good but I'm worried it'll jump the shark too much
Ready Player One looks good too but i have no idea how they're gonna go with the story (read a quick synopsis)
Westworld S2 I'm gonna stick with despite absolutely hating the Brainiac subplot

edit: I think we've hit maximum 80's nostalgia-whoring at this point.
 
It's Supes in the end scene,
Alfred said, "...now let's--hope--you're not too late. pause and emphasis on Hope.
The symbol for Superman means "hope".
Also the grainy shadow is red off the shoulder.

Its Supes.
 
This CGI crapfest looks good?! It has the obvious fake look and looks like zero practical effects and make up and all post process CGI detached fake atmosphere.
 
the comedy bits with the Flash seem forced and corny...I think DC is trying too hard to replicate Marvel's balance of action with light hearted moments but it's not working...

There's a major storyline spoiler out on the interweb: I can tell you that it is 100% not Superman in that end scene (very likely Green Lantern).

Plenty of secrets in regards to this film; reshoots gives you a clue to that fact. Did you know that this first Jusice League will be a 2 part chronicle.

Supes is most definitely coming back, and the studio hasn't been shy about revealing this at all. Tons of shots of him onset in costume, too.
