vCore, or trying to. Software reporting on the desktop is broken with X299. Hard to write reviews on overclocking when we do not know the vCore under load.

Linear VRM on the chip is a bad idea all around; I'd love to see if it couples to the heatspreader at all.

Pretty sure that actually works-helps the electrons get a gravity boost into the CPU-more velocity means bigger squeeze!
 
Did you know... You can get 69.48% better overclocking if you flip your entire desk over (with the computer on it) :D
 
This really works best when the cpu socket is aligned with the earth's east-west magnetic lines for signal integrity reasons.

Strangely enough, I built my custom case with the motherboard facing down so that if there is a leak, it does not leak onto any electronics:

Two harmless leaks later, (cracked flow sensor and a faulty rotatable fitting) I'm glad I did it.
Can't say I'm getting the 34.74% overclocks yet.

did you know that you can overclock to infinity if you coat the bottom of your motherboard with real butter?....ok , it doesn't really but it will smell like fresh fried eggs and they are tasty
 
Kyle, slap a custom plate on the bottom one and water cool it, then get back to us and let us know if it really works! And to seal the deal... I triple dog dare you.
