Since i wanted to try the latest and greatest I have FreeNAS running in a Gen 1 Hyper-V vm.

I have been reading that it seems the FreeNAS team stripped out like 95% of the iSCSI options in v10.

Has anyone been able to get a working iSCSI going via the GUI in FreeNAS 10 beta?

I am trying to add one and connect my Windows 10 Pro to it but not getting anywhere really..

Assuming you've enabled the iSCSI service already...
Go into Device Manager, expand the Storage Controllers, see if there's an unknown device. If there is, right click, Update Driver, Browse, Let me pick, choose the iSCSI Initiator driver, Next, Close.

That should do it, just tried in on my Win10 Pro and connected fine to an iSCSI target on my Synology.
