New EVGA HTC 1050ti no signal problems...

Super stoked on new graphics card... EVGA GTX 1050ti... Trying to hook up to a new Samsung 32" LED TV 4 Series I got at costco... anyways hooking up using hdmi to hdmi and no luck. Get no signal when I turn on. Tried putting in hdmi slot as well as one that says dvi... I have never hooked up a pc to a tv using hdmi cables so I feel I could be doing something wrong with that or using a wrong cable... I previously had my pc hooked up dvi to pc in on another tv before this..


Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. One thing I was looking at was using a DVI to hdmi cable? I read some people had luck with that.

Rest of the system specs?. is the card giving not signal problem only in that TV? have you tested with another TV or Monitor to verify the card is at least working as it should?

No testing with other monitors yet, I don't have a dvi to dvi cable unfortunately so haven't been able to do that...

Asus m5 a97 r2.0 mobo
8 gb ballistix ram
Corsair 650w power supply (new bit working fine the last few months)

Computer boots up bit just get no signal on the screen

Sooooo unplugged everything and plugged it back in, turns on, how these computers work i have no idea lol
