It's pretty straight forward really. I'm in need of a good quality 1u PSU to feed an i7 6700 and a 1080ti (I don't mind the noise.) I know EVGA used to sell a customized FSP model when the Hadron Air was a thing, but I'm unable to find it or anything like it in stock at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it have to be 1U or can you use an SFX unit?

There are very few if any enthusiast class 1U power supplies with modular connectors, etc. The only one I remember was the one you already mentioned.

Your best bet is to find either a server grade 500w unit from a reputable company and mod yourself, or get a replacement unit for a Shuttle SFF pc.

I'm not 100% certain the Shuttle units meet the 1U dimension specifications, but they should be close. 500w should be more than enough for that setup. I haven't seen 1U PSU's much larger than 500w, as anything requiring that much power usually needs more room for cooling thus getting a 2U or ATX PSU.

Yep! Unfortunately the case is limited to 1u only. I haven't gotten the nerve up to start cutting it yet. Thank you so much for the information, BTW. It's certainly more than I started with.
