I'm getting ready to do a PETG hardline tubing for my computer soon. I can't decide on the fittings, but I do know I want 16mm. I can't decide on the EK-HDC or alphacool HT or alphacool Eiszapfen fittings. Has anyone used any of these fittings to comment on the quality? The first 2 i listed look very similar. They have a simple design with a flat top. The eiszapfen have a beveled edge and look nicer. from what I see a lot of people get EK or bitspower hardline line compression fittings. I have heard of lots of stuff from alphacool, but not a lot on their hardline fittings.
Second question. I've watch some videos on measuring and bending the tubing, but I can't see how the tubing is actually installed. My ? is if the tubing is rigid, how do you get it between 2 fittings if they are perpindicular (one vertical and one horizontal)? It seems as if pushing the tube into one fitting would not allow alignment to the other since the tube is rigid. Is the tubing just flexible enough to do so? What about 2 fittings facing each other? The rigid tube has to get inside both those fittings. How do you get the tubing inside both without physically spreading the two fitting locations apart?
