So I was wondering if anyone has any experience with AirFiber or anything similar.
How stable is the connection and regarding ingame ping, similar to cable fiber?

My story:
I am from South Africa and adsl 10mg is the best I can get but just recently heard that AirFiber might be available in the near future, hence the question if there will be any significant decrease in my ping and whether it will be stable.

Hope this is the right section, couldn't find anything related to internet connections.

I have worked a lot with the Ubiquiti line and the AirFiber uses their own wireless chip and not just a modified wifi chip. I see very low and stable pings when compared to their other equipment.

If you are only worried about 10 mbps the Airfiber will be overkill but, will provide better ping times than a wifi based solution.

Hi, Im currently on a 10meg copper ADSL line with not the best ping in the world.
The current offer Im looking into and that is or should be available in the near future is 50meg AirFiber.
With my wife streaming Netflix while Im gaming I hope that 50meg should be enough that it wont effect my ping ingame that much or at all.
Im just glad to hear that AirFiber has low and stable ping, that is my biggest concern about AirFiber. Especially during online shooter games (COD, BF, CSGO etc.)
