Would be cool to get everything delivered on the 2nd instead of the 3rd. Oh well. At least I got a helluva deal on Amazon.

Have heart, with Amazon where I live (DFW Texas) I've gotten the notification the item was shipped after I have it in my hands.Called Amazon about my order... "This is going to be released tomorrow and will ship as soon as possible."
A little jealous, almost feels like I should have done Newegg... We will see how the day progresses though.
I've had that happen before as well but I've never had them not charge and the item getting to my door before they do. I just hope they one day or something and get it out before the afternoon *bites nails*Have heart, with Amazon where I live (DFW Texas) I've gotten the notification the item was shipped after I have it in my hands.
So not only are you a judgemental prick but you require responses that you deem satisfactory. It's easy, there are comparison numbers, even on the low end of Sandy Bridge IPC, it's still a highly competitive chip at half or a third the price of a comparable chip core wise. I myself am waiting for a little bit more board and cooler maturation. But if not for that I would have pre ordered as well. 3930k, 6c12t, I would have had to spend $1500-2k for just a gut and core upgrade. This gets me a chip that shows competitiveness in apps that BD struggled in with 8c16T for a third of the price giving me the budget for a full system upgrade instead. Bonus being it's not Intel who has demonstrated very terrible and illegal practices in an attempt to not have to compete in development against AMD in the past and did exactly what everyone thought they would do once they had a significant lead in performance. Not one of you that quoted my post, replied with anything valid. Most especially the guy that called me a liar.
Well I could give jack shit what you wrote. And by calling everybody morons who preordered, so you are also calling Kyle a moron? Because he suggested preordering? Hey Kyle BAN THIS MOFO!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got a "we are preparing to ship" email from Newegg on my 1800X. Nothing from Amazon yet. My preorder from the Austin Fry's was cancelled this morning.
Newegg just screwed me on my motherboard anyone who ordered a " ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming AM4 AMD X370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Motherboards - AMD" from newegg with a 3/2 promise date has to wait until 3/7 now. I have a 500 dollar cpu with no motherboard now. pissing me off.
Begging my liege's pardon, if a lowly peasant like myself could make a request, being the highly regarded man of such notable acts as gracing us with your wise words on the front page, a happy man of me you would make if you'd be so kind as to inform me of what hath been said by I which madeth my response unworthy of sire deeming it a valid retort? Not one of you that quoted my post, replied with anything valid.

I honestly don't know and i don't care, they said something about an issue with shipping them. So im going to blame newegg. I only picked the ASRock board because of the dual m.2 slots. Now im thinking i should of got the hero and said screw the dual m.2. I preordered a hero at amazon. I really hope amazon picks up the slack and sends me the hero so i can have it on friday!Did newegg screw you, or did Asrock end up having a problem, and they don't want boards shipping until they have a stable BIOS?
Lol. +1. Kill 'em with beer, kindness, and laughter
Or just keep trolling a shipping thread....
Here is my bet.Just got off chat with Amazon and earliest they could give me as far as estimate was Saturday which means they won't ship mine until at earliest tomorrow...
Be right back while I go chat with the egg and see what they say about shipping if I order let say in five minutes...
Here is my bet.
If you join the egg membership you will automatically have priority placed on all of your orders. So any orders that do not have priority you would ship before. No it will not effect pre existing orders.
So yes it will ship sooner.. IF YOU PAY FOR IT.
My 1800X just shipped from Newegg, will arrive Friday by EOD.
Chat told me one day wouldn't affect my shipping . ; ; They told a few people it would and some it wouldn't so I think place in line must have some affect. Good luck though!Nothing changed yet on Amazon. Hoping next day air means it ships tomorrow and received on Friday.
Wise words. I, too, shall bite my knuckle and just wait. I don't need to upgrade right this very minute, so it's just better I be patient. As they say... good things come to those who wait.Or the sensible adult thing and just wait a couple of days.
I don't have any vendor loyalty. I go where the dollar leads. But in this case I think you might be angry at the messenger rather than the root cause. I could be wrong here but perhaps direct your outrage at the mobo vendor.Newegg screwed me and didnt ship my cpu so i canceled everything there and just ordered it from amazon. I'm still debating about going to canada tomorrow if they have some left over. I live in the niagara region so the closest canada computers is only 30 minutes away from me. I wish i had a microcenter near me but i dont closest one is northeast ohio which is 204 miles away. I know this probably sounds petty but im probably going to personally boycott newegg for a little bit just because im pissed off they screwed me on this preorder. I'm not some overnight fanboy ive been waiting for this for a few years now. This is beyond upsetting.
If Amazon hasn't updated my order by the time I leave work tomorrow I'll be hard pressed not to swing by Microcenter
I preordered the second the items went up on Newegg and Newegg had them up before 1pm est. I think I placed my order at around 12:30pm. I was definitely in the first wave. Newegg is a POS to me right now. No budge on Amazon for me either. I might go to Canada tomorrow if Canada computers has anything left since they are only 30 minutes away. I'm not driving no 400 miles round trip to microcenter in Ohio from buffalo@tdale When did you preorder your stuff? Was it early in the day on the 22nd, or was it later? By the time I had ordered all my stuff, it was... I think... 4pm-ish EST, and the majority of the stuff was sold out on NewEgg, so I ended up ordering everything but my RAM from Amazon (NewEgg was quite a lot cheaper on the RAM). If you ordered it later in the day, or even the next day, they may simply have been still catching up on what stuff was going to be in stock and what was over-sold; thus, reason for adjustments made to the 'release' dates on some boards, as they simply did that to indicate they wouldn't have any on hand that weren't already spoken for and that's when the latest shipment would arrive. Same things goes for the CPU, as you may have simply been too far down the list and they ran out of on-hand stock.
Nevertheless, I do feel for you and had I been gunning for the 1800X, I'd have that exact concern over having ordered things myself later in the day. I still wonder about the MSI Titanium and if they'll have enough at Amazon, given NewEgg was sold out on it, and I think Amazon had been sold out on the Hero already.
