New build for video editing...please critique.

Like the title states...mostly video editing and rendering work. I'm trying to stay within a 1700 budjet and add a second video card later as well as more memory.

I have a 480g, and a 240g SSD that I'll be using.

How would installing a M2 ssd help and would it be a wise choice?

I don't work on the business side of a computer everyday. Is the Z270 a better platform than the X99? How will this ryzen play out compared to these systems?

Well, you could go wrong by going with the 6800K by loosing 40% performance over Ryzen.

Or get 6900K performance from 50% of the price.

Or you could wait for actual benchmarks and not AMD's marketing materials!
