The 1080 looks nice. It is even smaller than their 1070 mini. Hopefully they will put out a new 1070 with similar dimensions.

The Raijintek Metis Plus was announced right before CES. The fan-mount is similar to how lots of people have modded their regular Metis, and how the fan-mounts were in its larger siblings for mATX and ATX. That is something that should have been there from the beginning.

It now looks like the above image was just an incorrect render floating around because the pictures of the 1080 mini in the wild show a different picture.

Dimensions look the same to me, the middle of the fans lines up in about the same spot on the PCIe connector in both the render and the picture.

Agreed, it looks like the picture was taken at an angle and still doesn't look like the fan housing extends past the PCB. However the more I look at the top left corner it does appear that the PCB extends past the mounting bracket/rear io panel.

Some more stuff from Smallformfactor.net, thanks to Phuncz. New cases from Silverstone.

The SG14. An FT03-mini refresh.

The VT01 and VT02. Cases for the new STX form factor mobo

And the RVZ03. AKA: The exact bloody same as every other RVZ slim case by Silverstone.

The photo of the 1080 isn't scaled the same as the photo of the 1070. I did a quick resize in paint and matched the IO bracket on the 1080 to the 1070. They look almost identical in size. The IO bracket in the render is also not correct, it is too high up (and makes the card look shorter).

Yes, they went overboard with the RGB lighting and windows, but at least the case wasn't designed with XTREME water cooling setups in mind, so it's a step in the right direction.

What were they thinking with the SX500's lack of mounting options?

As it is it won't fit any case with the 6-hole or 4-hole mounting pattern, and obviously only one way with the 3-hole pattern.

I would guess the hole patterns would be the same on both these PSU's. Doesn't make sense to fabricate two different panels. May be an odd panel on the display model?

I'm just happy they have 92mm fans!

That 1080 mini is 210mm or 8.3" long. Should fit quite comfortably in an SG05.

In about 3/4 of the video Linus states that MSI will bring 1070 model of trident which mean there's going to be a 1070 mini from MSI
