When is the last time you thought to yourself "I wish I had a family portrait made out of crayons?" Not made WITH crayons, I'm talking about made out of actual crayons. Never? How about if I told you it only cost $1,280 for a 33" portrait?

Hope your A/C doesn't go out or else you will see what the object looks like running all down the wall.

Wow. It looks like they took a cool Etsy idea and ran away with it. I'm not trashing the idea but how can there possibly be much demand for something so niche?

HMMM, wouldn't it be cooler to have something like that made with 3mm tri color LEDs? You could thing display anything you wanted to your pixelated heart's content.

The $89 images on their website are 17x17, or 289 crayons in total. Various products on Amazon price crayola crayons at 10.3 cents each, so that would be ~$30 in cost, plus labor etc. The profit margin seems about right for these, honestly. Not that it's something I'd want in my house, but the price doesn't seem outrageous for what it is.

Yep.. or even maybe just a TV/Monitor.

Pixelation like that is horrid.

And can you imagine trying to dust one of those crayon things? The crayon wax would get all over the duster.

Bump the thing and you have broken the tips off a few of the crayons.

Definitely not something that is going to hold up over the years.
