Anyone have an educated perspective on the technology behind the coating? I would be interested in reading -

The stuff is pretty cool. Iirc, there was a show that tested it's ability to protect against bomb blasts when used on walls. Rhino Liner Wall Blast Test - Discovery Channel - YouTube

Under coating my Jeep with this stuff, it is great!
While it did help, especially when coated on both sides, they didn't do any projectile testing. Just because it can sort-of withstand a shockwave doesn't mean diddly when it comes to a real bomb.

They did a watermelon earlier.. thought it looks to be about an inch or so thick of liner.
I've seen it on a body of an old Wrangler and have considered it a cheaper alternative to the Starwood Motors kevlar paint job for my Wrangler. With that said, the Starwood one looks great and probably better than putting Line-X on your Jeep body.
