How to locate a cheap GTX 1070?

Im building a new CPU over the next week(s) i have everything but need a GTX 1070 and would like to not spend more than $380 + tax anyone know how i can make this happen. i have been searching everywhere the lowest i have found was $420.

If you don't mind founders edition. Best buy has them in stock all the time. Nvidia branded ones. But it might be a long time before you find a cheap one that is available. It really becomes a pain to wait and wait and wait. If you want one you can have it. Cheapest one that is mostly available is going to be the founders edition. Now there are cheaper ones that seem to never be available though lol.

Most people receive their goods with zero issues. Common complaints are glacially slow ship times and a bad return process, both dependent on who filled the order.
 
Update: Called Jet they told me they were sorry but they are out of stock and will give me a Credit for my troubles and it will show up on my account in a day. 24hrs later still no credit. :(

By most accounts it's a good card. Really all depends on what your priorities are here. If you want the cheapest decent 1070, wait for the $399 Gigabyte Windforce (dual fan) 1070 to get back in stock at Newegg. Setup an alert for it at nowinstock.net and then just wait it out. If you want something in stock right now and are fine spending an extra $30, the Gigabyte G1 looks like the one to go for.
 
Picked up a Zotac 1070 Amp extreme for $420 from Jet after Shop10 code.. It's "processing" right now but will most likely ship from newegg. Was tempted by the Strix due to built in case fan control, but it went out of stock right before purchase.
 
BhPhoto has eVGA 1070 SC in stock @ 449.99, they already shipped my preorder a couple of days ago.

Meh, I won't deal with B&H again, they got enough of a markup out of me for the 290, granted they only got an extra $10 out of you.

Nice. I just got my Amp! Extreme yesterday. Also ordered from Jet and fulfilled by Newegg.

The card is HUUUUUGE. Does a great job of keeping the temps down. I'm replacing an MSI 1070 Gaming (non-x) and the Zotac is a good 3-4C cooler at all times. Unfortunately it's not a great overclocker (MSI was stable at 2100, the Zotac doesn't seem to want to go much higher than 2050) but I'm okay with that. I'll gladly give up 1-2% in performance for better temps, less noise, and a $50 savings!
 
A big problem with using JET is that they are just a facilitator. You order from them and they in turn order from someone else. They use multiple sources but won't order one to complete your order if they can't make any money. So with JET you actually never know for sure until after the order if they actually have any to sell you, you don't actually know where it's coming from, or how long it will take. If their vendor does not provide them tracking information, you don't get that either.

I have ordered several times from JET and I have received things from Newegg, NZXT and a few resellers that I would not have bought from directly.
 
My jet order has a fedex tracking number. I think as long as you avoid the slickdeals effect, Jet can keep accurate inventory and ship no problem.

No problems with my Jet order. Ordered a Zotac 1070 AMP! Extreme last Thursday evening. Card arrived early Saturday morning via FedEx (fulfilled by Newegg, of course).

Finally got my eVGA SC, $450 but I'm so happy :D First new VGA after 6 years.
 
I gave up on the thought of getting a 1070 at that kind of price (I am in Canada)
Had to settle for a consolation prize 980ti at $350.
