Buying OS on ebay experiences?

Buying OS (especially server) seems to be very tempting on ebay. Vendors claim it is legit.
Does anyone here have experience going this route?

Which is no different than the ebay seller in question - either way its some chinese or east-indian bellycrawler selling sketchy MSDN keys (illegal, and key is subject to being blacklisted without notice). Might as well just go the ebay route if you're going to risk that - at least you've got buyer protection.

That's why you spend the extra buck or two and get their "protection", which guarantees you a valid key.
