A stripped down and to the point. Regular keycaps, Of course sporting their Romer G switches and RGB backlight. Supposed to be $160.

No USB ports, no screen, wish it had more macro keys, the billion color profile stuff is cool, but is anyone really going to mess with that more than twice, and it costs how much money?

Still, I am drawn to it. :)

really annoyed that they changed the "G" logo to be all squared off, now my g502 wont match :p

would buy if i didn't already have the corsair K70

Argh I just want a mechanical G13. Is that too much to ask Logitech :(

And I'd totally get this if I also already didn't have the corsair k65.

Not much reason to get this over the Corsair Strafe RGB, except that the g810 comes with a free game or you are partial to Romer-G's. If I were in the market for a keyboard and The Division i'd purchase the g810.

Both keyboards are nice.

The G910 has macro keys and a "dock" to set your phone on to use as a screen. This is basically a stripped down version of that.
It still doesn't have any USB ports though.

I like the basic design, but I have to admit: I'd change it up. Take out the programmable lighting (keep it backlit, but just for visibility) and make it a scissor-switch keyboard, since I prefer quiet keys. It'd theoretically be cheaper and thinner, although you probably wouldn't want one if you tend to mash the keys when you play.

The G810 is for a different target audience than the scissor switch keyboards.. The tactile feeling of Cherry MX or Romer G switches couldn't be more different than the feel scissor switches. I doubt many gamers would want the scissor switches. Cherry MX Blues are my favorite switch type. I can't fucking stand scissor switches. The only scissor action I'm interested in usually has to be viewed on Redtube.

lol

I always get confused with multi-colored keyboards, after a few sessions I usually just set it to white and all those extra colors just goes to waste. I probably wouldn't consider this over my CM Quickfire, especially since I got mine for $70 a few years ago.

Someday, I hope they release a mechanical RGB keyboard with a LCD display & USB 3.x ports.

If they make a ten keyless version I'm buying. I hate my mouse running into the side of my keyboard when I'm playing.

I received my G810 this past Monday. I've got mixed feelings about it. I've used the Logitech Illuminated (K740) for over 6 years, and my model predated when they disabled the W+Shif+Space combo. So, typing on the G810 is taking some getting used to. I want to give it at least another week before I'm too critical of it, though, as going from a low profile scissor switch (I think that's what the K740 uses) to a mechanical is going to take some adjustment no matter what brand/switch I go with.

And I have zero use for the pack in game.

Sell the pack in game to me for $30 :p

I really wish this model was around when I had bought my G910. Macro keys are nice and everything but I don't use them much at all. Thee extra width of this keyboard is throwing my typing off and takes up that tiny bit more room where my mouse is running into the side during long sessions. Really hard to complain though when I had got the G910 for $90 using an AMEX Best Buy promo.
