This will be for an x99 & Intel 5820k processor watercooled build.
So I was originally thinking of watercooling DDR4 for benefits & looks, but seems there isn't any real added benefits to watercooling DDR4 so it would all just be looks.
Then I found out about light bars and that seems a lot easier for added bling to the memory.
But what light bar options are available? Is it only the Corsair Dominator Platinum series of memory that has light bars available?
They seem to be more expensive than other series of memory - but if they're the only ones with light bars, I guess that's the kind I will get since it seems that it is quality memory & has a really cool bling feature.
Also, I'm going at least 16gb, can anyone suggest a good reason to go for 32gb other than for gaming or bragging rights? (Not into either, only performance for everything else, non-gaming related)
Here's a comparison of a few different Platinum series kits:

Based on that newegg comparison, for $170 I can get 16gb (4x4gb) or for $100 more I can get 32gb, (8x4gb)
The only difference I can see are the 32gb kits are 2400/2666 speeds while the 16gb kits are 3000/3200 speeds
So would I be better off with twice the ram @32gb but lower overall speeds, or higher speeds and half the memory @16gb?
Thoughts?
