windows 10 how to prevent email from linking with local windows account?

I have a user that keeps linking her email with the local windows account.

how can I stop this?

Is she using some kind of Windows mail app? Someone else will probably be able to provide a better answer, but I've been using Windows 10 since it went RTM and I've not encountered any prompt to tie my e-mail account(s) to it.

I can only assume two things:
A) She's trying to use a Microsoft mail app
B) She's trying to access components of Windows 10 that ask for her to login and she's entering her e-mail address

This might be one of those cases where you need to ask the user what they do on a daily basis and watch them go through the motions.

Microsoft's first non-patch update for Windows 10 has been pushed back to November. A new report indicates that "Threshold 2" has been delayed from its initial October release date.

I heard that in that version it will no longer need MS account
