Will these fittings work on hard tubing?

Why do you want rotary fittings for hard tubing? One of the benefits of hard tubing is you can permanently bend it to whatever shape you want.

Well I'm a big failure!

I tried my hand at hard tubing and all I got was leaks :(

I dunno if it was me or the fittings, but it wouldn't seal no matter what I tried. I was using the Monsoon hardline fittings, and honestly I didn't like them.

I ran out of patience, and trashed everything.

Going back to what I know(soft tubing), just waiting for the tubing to arrive.

I'll chalk this up to a learning experience :D

Wow, I looked at the Monsoon fittings and that design is terrible! They use a cap of sorts that you have to glue onto the end of the hard tubing that then screws into a G1/4" thread of a normal fitting. That seems like a really bad design decision that just makes so many opportunities for errors. Most other fittings just use simple compression and O-rings that seal on the outside of the rigid tubing. I used the primochill fittings and had zero leaks.

I will say that overall hard tubing is a pain in the ass. It takes a lot of patience to get it correct.

Yeah, I was not aware the fittings needed glue when I ordered them. Only after, when I looked on YouTube, did I realize that I would need the glue(which i did order and used).

If I knew the fittings required glue before hand, I would have never made the order.

But, that's my fault for not doing the research.

If I had my time back, I would have bought another style of compression fitting.
