With Windows 10 the more I read about it the more I don't like and the more I don't want it. Still no reason for me to move from Windows 7.
Direct X 12 is a reason right?

Oh, and thank you Steve for giving us the heads up on the slide show format. The one best reason for not even bothering to view that site. Slide shows = laziness or worse, shoving more ads in your face and Google data mining.
Seriously, what are you guys doing that you're so afraid people will see?
It's the absolute best reason, if those DX12 benchmark tests at http://arstechnica.co.uk/gaming/201...-win-for-amd-and-disappointment-for-nvidia/3/ are a hint of the performance DX12 games (or games running in DX12) can provide over DX11.
Only if your use of computers is for gaming and not for activities that are essential to actually earn a living, if you really use the computer as a tool to gain money I would stay with W7.Direct X 12 is a reason right?
Start menu search feature sends keystrokes and displays web results since Windows 8.I installed Windows 10 on my new build last night and the step where it asks about logging all of this information was one of the oddest experiences in recent memory.
Default settings on the Windows 10 install have keystroke logging, browsing history, location data, and the permission to send info to '3rd party advertisers' all lumped in the same settings screen. This is enough to make me question what Microsoft is doing even if I have nothing to hide. After turning off these settings and seeing the wording Microsoft used I was left with the feeling of 'really Microsoft?'. I turned off the settings once during install, then the computer rebooted and it went back to the same privacy screen again and back to the default settings. Really...? I turned it all off again and was finally able to use Windows 10, yay!
Part of this odd feeling might have been the fact that I was doing it at 2AM, but I feel still weird about it today because it literally said they would record keystrokes, browsing history, and location. Anyone else remember the installation step I'm referring to? If they are still recording that and there's reports of Microsoft collecting the information anyways regardless of the fact that I've turned it off, then it's just shady business practices, no way around that.
That's how I feel. I hated Windows 8.1 with every fiber of my being. Windows 10 has been a huge improvement for me.
