Randy Pitchford is in the hot seat over at GamesIndustry.biz today. Gearbox fan or not, this is some pretty interesting reading.

We seem to like making completely new things. We also seem to have fans that want us to also offer more with things we've created in the past and we exist to entertain so these feelings are important to us. We have had a lot of fun playing around by adding more to games we've created, too.

Merely doing an interview is time he is wasting that could be spent cracking the whip on making Borderlands 3 aka Borderworlds.

I have 250+ hours in Borderlands 2, and that many in the first one. Only have 30 hours in #3, but that is because of all the awesome DLC they made for the first 2. There is not a better coop game made...Period.

And it's not like I don't have 300+ games on steam to play, just these are a couple of the top ones I have.

Anything they do is golden for me the next few releases.

Complete opposite for me, mostly because of Pitchford himself. First he claims the community was full of crap when Halo PC came out and had piss poor performance, followed by taking Brothers in Arms and doing whatever the hell they were doing with it with Furious 4, then taking Brothers in Arms and turning it into a mobile game, culminating with the bullshit that was pulled with Aliens Colonial Marines....that he personally hyped up for 6 years.

Fuck Pitchford, and fuck Gearbox.

I bought Borderlands 1 and was gifted Borderlands 2 because I refused to buy it. Unless someone gifts it to me again, I'd say not likely :p
