Sorry, but with your budget, it isn't happening.
You're not going to be able to pull an i5. Maybe a Pentium. Or a low-end i3.
And Z77? Why? It's actually going to be MORE expensive than a Z97 setup right now.

You're probably looking about $560 before tax and shipping. And that's without a case or optical.

Granted, if you have access to a MicroCenter, you may save a few bucks. Possibly on a "buy CPU and get free motherboard" deal.

You made a price list based on retail. I believe what OP is looking for is a used bundle of parts. 2 different things. Maybe you misunderstood him?

Yes. I am looking for used parts. I know for sure I won't be able to build this PC around $500, buying parts new at retail.

I could probably sell my 960 4g for $200 Shipped. It is fresh from RMA and never used yet, only tested to confirm it powered on. pst if interested.

Just out of curiosity, why would I buy a used, or RMA card if I could buy one for that price brand new, or within a few dollars of that price?

See if you can grab a gtx 670 for around $120. There are a few for sale in here. I'm still impressed by these cards. Two of them drive a 4k monitor I purchased from Ieyasu just fine. For aging cards, I was blown away by the performance I still get in Crysis 3 and FarCry 4.

your not the op if im not mistaken....

And half the time getting an RMA from evga is just them sending you a factory sealed bnib card. So yeah, to sell a BNIB card sent as a replacement for 30 less than retail, yeah sounds fair to me.

That is what I really want. But I might have to settle for a GTX 760 instead, because I can't find someone selling one.
